Simplex is an independant consultancy firm specialising in employee benefits and actuarial advice.
Our company came into existence in February 2001 by the name of Daenen-Van Havermaet Employee Benefits when Bob Daenen and the Van Havermaet-Groenweghe group struck up a partnership. Continuously evolving legislation and increasing “ageing issues” are creating a major need for independent, expert advice for businesses, and is the basis of the joint venture.
Bob Daenen can look back on a 12-year career as an actuary at a leading insurance company in the Belgian market. He accumulated invaluable knowledge and experience in the area of “Collective Life Insurance” there.
In order to further enhance and extend our services, in January 2010 the joint venture structure with the financial services group Van Havermaet – Groenweghe is no longer possible. The new option of co-operation on the basis of commissions is, from a deontological perspective, not compatible with the profession of accountancy. The company pursue a new course: by way of Simplex Employee Benefits providing all personal insurance policies.
Simplex Insurance becomes the new broker company with Miek Debusschere as business manager. Now Simplex can implement the insured decisions itself. And of course, a good follow-up of the insurance company is crucial in this.
Besides the classic HR-related insurances (non-statutory pension, life-insurance, medical costs, disability and accidents), the other risks of board members and their companies can also be covered by this approach. Personal and financial risks by means of liability insurances and the protection of their goods through other indemnity insurances. In brief, a tailored focus on companies.
