Standing still is going backwards. A saying that definitely applies to the business world. Market trends drive businesses in a certain direction. Some changes of direction may then become imperative in order to maintain the same dynamic rate of growth in the future. Daenen-Van Havermaet Employee Benefits is not immune to this phenomenon, either.
In order to further enhance and extend our services, from now on we are also offering the option of co-operation on the basis of commissions. In practice, it means that we continue to act as independent consultants but that you, the customer, have a choice about how you pay us for our work: you can opt to pay either an hourly rate, as before, or on a commission basis, in which case our fee is included in the insurance premiums you pay. Whatever you choose to do, we will continue to provide transparency and will charge you the right price for the service provided.
In addition, our existing range of services has been extended to include industrial accident insurance and associated personal insurance policies. From today onwards, we will therefore be providing independent advice on all personal insurance policies: non-statutory pensions, life insurance, income protection or work incapacity payments, personal accident insurance and assistance in the event you are admitted to hospital or suffer a long-term illness. However, due to the above changes, it is no longer possible for us to maintain the current joint venture structure with the Van Havermaet Groenweghe group. From a deontological perspective, being an insurance broker is not compatible with the profession of accountancy. We will nevertheless continue to work together as preferred partners in order to give our mutual customers the best possible service.
In practice, this means a new name, a new address and new contact details!
In line with our ambition to make the often complex matter of pension planning as simple and transparent as possible, we chose the name: SIMPLEX Employee Benefits.
